Yesterday I went to see "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" first part, with very low expectations, considering how much I liked the previous two.
But I was pleasantly surprised.
Comments after the cut, for those who did not see it.
Harry Potter 7-I
Overall, I liked the movie. It is seen that by this time, the director read the book, which did not seem to have done with the previous two. Not only seemed to fit in, despite some minor changes, it is fairly well done in the spirit of the book oppressive and hopeless.
desolate landscapes, arid and cold in the places where fleeing almost throughout the film are really good. The kids are much improvedr, especially Rupert and Emma are very well done scenes, and able to express much. Daniel's not so bad, but I think there is no remedy at this point. Someone should explain that the action is not for you, now you have enough money, he could focus on something else.
still do not like Ralph Fiennes to Voldemort, not able to put the fear does give the character is rather pathetic, but maybe that's the impression that has the character actor, who knows. But it lacks presence, that it does have the making of Lucius Malfoy, which is really creepy.
As always, Helena Bonham Carter is spectacular, Bellatrix gets scare plus the 5 minutes it appears that Voldemort, with that mixture of malice, bigotry andmadness, is one of the most sinister characters of the books, and she plays really well.
The setting is fabulous, the new Ministry of Magic and the imposing statue of the oppressed by the wizards Muggles really get to feel the terrible situation that we are experiencing. To respect the scenes of interrogation and prosecution of the same employees! The impressive interrogation room, with the Dementors in the ceiling and the old Umbridge, that's all very well done. Very funny the part where they become the 3 employees, and as they act like kids, despite the dramatic situation, I loved it.
is a very hard film, it seems inappropriate to put it in my country as unfit for minors dand 9 years, I would not suitable for children under 12. It looks too much like real life, the establishment of a dictatorship, with all the horror of human rights trampled, missing and tortured, and is still too close to that stage in history at least in Latin America as to leave us indifferent those parts of the film. Too crudely show how it affects the lives of people, even nice things, like holding a wedding, as representing the human spirit against adversity, and tries to fight the darkness as he can.
An example is the part where they go to Luna's father's house (by the way Luna is always great, the actress is wonderful). The man who fights from his diary against dictAdour, and as they do pay, abducted his beloved daughter. This scene breaks my heart, the pain of father actually arrives. Excellent actor who plays him.
In this part I really liked the story as portrayed in the story of three brothers and death. Very original, visually beautiful, yet simple and powerful.
In general, all scenes are magnificent, or less respect the book, and is well told, well mounted and well acted (except Daniel, but we're going to do.) It really impressed me very well. A very good movie, you can follow it exactly if you do not read the book.
Now let the negative aspects. Details change is inevitable, and this director in particular, choose to change things TERGIversen often the sense of what they want to express those details.
For example, how to identify between 7 Harrys Harry in the book, the spell is used against the Death Eaters, the spell of disarmament, rather than an attack spell. That speaks much of the character of Harry, characterizes it as that spell and it is with this with Voldemort will expire. The film is because it saves Hedwig.
And of course, what bothered me most is that they want to imitate the Twilight Saga with a fake love triangle, that the book is never given, implying that between Harry and Hermione are more than friendship. The dance scene in the tent is free. What the shrine is not so bad, considering that the visions he sees there if intensive Ronso encouraging that he always felt jealousy towards Harry, saying he preferred Hermione Harry, but the sex scene between them is a bit excessive, but does not clash at all with what we wanted to display. Ron is spectacular with its performance in these scenes, when under the influence of the shrine and in the end, when it destroyed. I believe that unless these two things, I did not find major objections to the film. It is an interesting example of a commercial movie can be really good. Anyway, I recommend it very much, and would again. I look forward to the second part, and I very much hope it stays that way and not ruin the end. Yet not I have faith the director, but I give the benefit of the doubt. He did an excellent job with this firstra part.
Greetings!
