Here is my review of Supernatural 6x02. Instead of the Addams Family, claims should be Campbells. Warning: Spoilers from 6x02.
Supernatural The family has always been about family. The importance of family, blood ties, even if it's a dysfunctional family. Above all what happened, monsters, demons, vampires, and humans still insane, most importantly the end was the love of family. It was always a story of siblings, parents and children. Bonds of love and jealousy, poorly resolved relationships, absent parents, and the damage it does to children. No matter if the families in question were of humans, angels, demons, or monsters. In previous seasons, this was presented as something positive, love triumphs in the end, the brothers are the only thing you can trust, beyond temporary problems. You can always count on the family.
In this season, seem to be experimenting with the opposite. What happens when you can not trust their own family. What happens when you try to build one yet, and does not work. When the brother who always trusted it becomes a sinister stranger. When you are so afraid to hurt you can not maintain a stable family. Because that's what we've seen so far.
